The Laboratory Operations Specialist will be responsible for managing logistics for assigned projects, including purchasing, scheduling, travel coordination and personnel management, contracts and documentation.

About the Job

This role will serve as the project manager for a 5-years NIH-funded Project, coordinating efforts within The University of Texas and among several collaborating institutions to study brain connections in human and nonhuman primates.

  • Ensure that all research activities comply with established protocols, safety regulations, and institutional standards.
  • Address and troubleshoot any administrative or operational issues that may impact compliance.

The ideal candidate will have relevant education and experience, commitment to maintaining confidentiality and integrity in research practices, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

A competitive salary range of $45,000-$55,000 depending on qualifications is offered.
