Job Overview

Natera is a global leader in cell-free DNA testing, dedicated to oncology, women's health, and organ health. We are seeking an experienced Clinical Laboratory Operator Extractions to join our team.

This role involves assisting in analyzing specimens and maintaining equipment in good operating condition to ensure accurate and timely testing of patient samples. The successful candidate will adhere to Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, provide guidance to new team members, and maintain compliance with regulatory standards.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in testing of patient samples according to standard operating procedure.
  • Meet expected performance metrics within the role as applicable.
  • Maintain updated knowledge of methods performed in the lab.
  • Provide guidance for new team members.
  • FOLLOW GOOD LABORATORY PRACTICES: maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Complete training and other deadlines on time.
  • Recognize, escalate, and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and common processing errors according to the laboratory's standard operating procedures.
  • Communicate with team and other departments on various platforms.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a BS/BA in a biological science or a related field and 0-2 years of industry-related experience. Key skills and qualifications include excellent interpersonal, communication, computer, and technical skills, as well as the ability to work well in a group.
