The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced medical surgical unit. As a key member of the healthcare team, the RN will work closely with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care and support.
Responsibilities- Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes in condition
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care
- Provide education and support to patients and families
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing
- Current RN licensure in Virginia or North Carolina
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (within 1 year of hire)
