Job Title: Sanitation Technician

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sanitation Technician to join our team at The J.R. Simplot Company. As a Sanitation Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of our food processing facility.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clean and sanitize food processing equipment, floors, walls, and ceiling to maintain a safe and healthy environment for employees and products.
  • Operate industrial cleaning equipment and use chemicals to sanitize surfaces and equipment.
  • Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Remove waste products from the area and dispose of them in designated receptacles.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1-2 years of experience in the food processing industry preferred.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for 10-12 hours at a time.
