Job Title: Processing Sanitation GL

The J.R. Simplot Company is a leading global food and agriculture company with a diverse portfolio of businesses. We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Processing Sanitation GL.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for cleaning and sanitizing processing equipment, floors, walls, and ceiling to ensure a safe and quality environment for employees within our vegetable processing facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and sanitize food processing equipment and facilities using water and industrial chemicals.
  • Wear personal protective equipment while cleaning and sanitizing processing equipment.
  • Remove waste product from areas and place it in designated receptacles.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-2 years of work experience in the food processing industry preferred.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work outside in various weather conditions.
  • Ability to wear personal protective equipment.
  • Ability to stand for 10-12 hours at a time.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to bend and stoop.
  • Ability to climb steps and ladders.
