Soliant's School-Based SLP Opportunity in Lafayette, LA

We are working with a school in Lafayette, LA to interview Speech-Language Pathologists for a contract position for the remainder of the school year. This is a full-time opportunity (approximately 35 hours per week) that requires ASHA certification or Clinical Fellowship. The successful candidate will have a license to practice in the state of Louisiana.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct evaluations and assessments of students' speech and language development, and diagnose students with speech/language impediments.
  • Develop Individualized Education Plan (IEP) goals in consultation with district SLPs.
  • Provide speech-language therapy, document student progress, and complete necessary paperwork.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and communicate speech and language goals to student caregivers.
Requirements:

We seek applicants who bring solid clinical knowledge, are well-organized, and are adept communicators. Additional details regarding the caseload and building assignments will be discussed during an interview with the administrators.
