Job Summary:

The Speech Language Pathologist Assistant will work under the supervision of a licensed Speech Language Pathologist to provide support and assistance in the assessment, treatment, and education of students with speech and language disorders.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Speech Language Pathologist in the assessment and treatment of students with speech and language disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students
  • Provide support and assistance to students in the classroom and during therapy sessions
  • Collaborate with teachers and other school staff to develop and implement strategies to support students with speech and language disorders
  • Maintain accurate records and reports of student progress
Requirements:
  • Active or pending California SLPA license
  • Bachelor's/Associate level degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
  • Previous school experience preferred
