Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Prenatal, Natal, and Postpartum Care: Provide comprehensive care and treatment to women during the prenatal, natal, and postpartum periods, including routine check-ups, prenatal testing, and postpartum follow-up.
  • Disease Diagnosis and Treatment: Diagnose, treat, and monitor diseases, disorders, and conditions affecting women's health, including gynecologic and obstetric conditions.
  • Medication Management: Prescribe appropriate medications to treat patients in accordance with standardized procedures and company policy.
  • Screening and Exams: Perform pap smears, pelvic, and breast exams to detect and prevent gynecologic and breast cancers.
  • Patient Education: Educate patients on the importance of treatment plans, communicate side effects and risks of medications prescribed, and promote disease prevention and reproductive health.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate and consult with other medical and non-medical personnel to ensure seamless patient care and effective communication.
  • Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed written documentation of patient interactions, treatments, and outcomes.
Requirements
  • Education and Licensure: Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Degree required; Licensed in the State of New York as an OB/GYN; DEA Certification required.
  • Experience: Prior experience as an OB/GYN preferred.
  • Skills and Qualities: Excellent independent judgment, problem-solving, analytical, and collaborative skills; ability to work under pressure; ability to handle multi-functions; ability to relate to the public regardless of ethnic, religious, or economic status.
