Job Title: Memory Care Caregiver

Franklin Park Alamo Heights is a premier retirement community in San Antonio, offering upscale Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care. We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Memory Care Caregiver to join our team.

About the Role:

As a Memory Care Caregiver, you will provide person-centered care to our residents, focusing on their individual needs and preferences. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans that promote resident independence and engagement.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), such as dining, dressing, grooming, bathing, toileting, and transfers and ambulating.
  • Provide specialized training in dementia care and work effectively with residents who have dementia.
  • Encourage resident independence and participation in hobbies and interests, as well as community programs and events.
  • Work collaboratively with the care team to ensure seamless care delivery.
Requirements:
  • Training and/or experience as a Care Giver or Med Tech.
  • Dependability and patience when working with residents with memory challenges.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively with colleagues and residents.
