Pulmonary Medical Assistant Position
Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per year.
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Certified Medical Assistant to join our team in Spartanburg. As a Pulmonary Medical Assistant, you will play a critical role in providing excellent patient care and supporting our medical staff.

The successful candidate will have excellent customer service skills, the ability to multitask, and experience working with electronic medical records (EMRs). Our Private Medical Office has been serving the Upstate community for many years. We specialize in pulmonary medicine, sleep disorders, and research. Our dedicated staff is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care and promoting a positive work environment.

Job Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care, including vital sign checks, spirometry, and other procedures as directed by providers
- Manage orders, prescriptions, and patient referrals, ensuring accurate and timely communication with patients and healthcare teams
- Prepare exam rooms, restock supplies, and maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Collaborate with clinical leads and providers to ensure seamless patient care

Requirements and Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) preferred
- 1+ years of experience in a medical setting, preferably in pulmonary medicine or sleep disorders
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to prioritize tasks efficiently
- Familiarity with EMRs, such as AthenaOne, and other office software
