Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit team at Loyola University Health System. As a Registered Nurse in our ICU, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients and provide high-quality care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Monitor and manage patient vital signs, medication, and treatment plans.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and unit performance.
Requirements:
  • A degree from an accredited school/college of nursing is required - BSN or ADN.
  • BLS Provider (accredited by the American Heart Association) required prior to hire.
  • Illinois Board of Nursing license prior to hire.
