Position Overview: As a Lead Early Childhood Educator, you will play a pivotal role in our organization. Your work will take place in a collaborative environment, supported by resources designed to help you thrive. You will be responsible for overseeing and managing the classroom, ensuring alignment with our mission and educational framework.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a nurturing and developmentally appropriate learning environment.
  • Address the physical, social, emotional, and intellectual needs of each child.
  • Supervise and guide classroom activities in accordance with established curriculum.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet one of the following criteria:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, Special Education, Child Psychology, or Family and Child Development.
  • A Bachelor's degree in an unrelated field, accompanied by two college courses in Early Childhood Education and relevant experience.
  • Current certification as a Child Development Associate (CDA) or a similar credential.
  • Completion of a vocational program in child development with verified experience in child supervision.

Physical Requirements:

Position may involve sedentary work, requiring prolonged periods of sitting and the ability to exert up to 10 lbs of force occasionally.
