Compensation:
$60,000 - $75,000

The Ideal Candidate:
- Experience with aerial devices, digger derricks, chippers, cranes, or construction and agricultural machinery such as excavators, skid steers, dozers, or tractors; military heavy equipment; or aircraft and aerospace ground support equipment
- Previous experience in mechanical or equipment service
- Educational background in mechanics, electrical, or hydraulic systems
Key Responsibilities:
- Replace electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical components
- Utilize technical support resources for troubleshooting and identifying necessary parts for repairs
- Conduct Unit Condition Inspections and Reports
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area
- Adhere to Altec Safety practices and procedures
- Communicate effectively with supervisors regarding customer relationship impacts
- Provide accurate information on all required documentation
- Demonstrate commitment to Altec Company Values
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma, state-approved High School Equivalency, or GED
- Three years of experience in Altec Manufacturing or equivalent service experience
- Strong interpersonal, customer service, and organizational skills
- Ability to lift and move objects and tools weighing up to 75 pounds; frequent bending, stooping, and kneeling
- High level of dexterity
- Possess basic tools as per Altec tool policy
- Valid driver's license
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office
- Willingness to work overtime as needed
- Commitment to safety in all tasks
