Job Overview

Position Summary:
As a Senior Pharmacy Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with USP 797 standards and company protocols while maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Your role will involve preparing and packaging medications, managing inventory, and assisting with supply orders.

Key Responsibilities:
In this role, you will:

  • Engage with patients to coordinate medication deliveries and refill requests.
  • Adhere to strict guidelines for compounding and sanitation.
  • Prepare and package medications and necessary supplies.
  • Assist in inventory management and restocking of shelves.
  • Participate in monthly inventory assessments.

Additional Duties:
You may also be required to:

  • Handle patient deliveries through shipping services.
  • Support the ordering process for pharmacy supplies.
  • Contribute to labeling and organizing medications as needed.
  • Lift and manage supplies weighing up to 30 lbs.
  • Perform other tasks as directed by the Pharmacy In-Charge.

Work Schedule:
This position operates Monday through Friday, with an 8-hour shift scheduled between 8:30 AM and 5:30 PM.

Qualifications:
Required:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Active Pharmacy Technician license in Texas.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or clinical setting.

Preferred:

  • National Pharmacy Technician Certification.
  • Experience in Home Infusion and Sterile Compounding for at least 1 year.
