We are seeking a highly skilled Advanced Practice Clinician to join our team at Planned Parenthood of the Rocky Mountains. As an Advanced Practice Clinician, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality reproductive healthcare services to patients.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a strong educational background in nursing and be certified as an NP or CNM by a national certification organization. They will also possess a Nurse Practitioner or Certified Nurse Midwife license in the state of Colorado or be able to apply for one. Full prescriptive authority in CO is required.

You will work closely with our health center team to provide comprehensive care to patients, including family planning and abortion services. Your primary function will be to provide exceptional patient care, working effectively with both patients and colleagues to deliver outstanding results.

Schedule and Benefits

This position offers a predictable schedule, approximately 35 hours per week, with benefits eligibility. You will enjoy a generous benefits package, valued at over $16,000, which includes medical, vision, dental, extended mental health coverage, and much more.

Compensation

The estimated annual salary for this position is around $88,000-$120,000, depending on experience and qualifications. This figure is based on the hourly rates mentioned in the job description: APC I ($43.94 - $52.46 / hour) and APC II ($45.04- $60.53 /hour). Plus, you may earn additional income through bonuses for conversational Spanish Fluency and precepting/training approval.

Please note that the pay rate has the potential to increase in October 2024 pending the outcome of ongoing union negotiations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Secure and review patient health histories and records accurately
  • Perform physical examinations, with special emphasis on the reproductive system
  • Provide cancer screening testing, diagnose sexually transmitted infections, and perform other specialized procedures as indicated
  • Order diagnostic studies, provide treatment, and follow-up as necessary
  • Collaborate with the health center team to provide comprehensive care
