Job Summary

Sutter Health is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist II to join our team of healthcare professionals. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for performing routine and specialized radiology procedures to produce high-quality images for physicians and other healthcare providers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Competently perform radiology procedures to produce accurate and high-quality images
  • Work independently, exercising sound judgment and clinical skills to execute safe and precise procedures
  • Gain confidence and cooperation from patients, families, and healthcare providers through effective communication and patient assessment
  • Adhere to local, state, and federal regulations, codes, policies, and procedures to ensure patient privacy and safety
  • May be responsible for performing specific procedures and/or orienting other staff to the department
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program
  • ARRT-American Register of Radiologic Technologist certification and evidence of application for CRT
  • CRT-Certified Radiologic Technologist certification (from state where work is being performed)
  • ARRT-American Register of Radiologic Technologist certification
  • BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider certification
  • RHF-Radiology Fluoroscopy certification within 180 days of hire (if required at the affiliate)
  • 2 years of recent relevant experience
Preferred Qualifications
  • General knowledge of diagnostic radiology principles, procedures, views, and equipment
  • Ability to perform routine radiographic examinations and basic understanding of human anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to explain sensitive information clearly and professionally
  • Well-developed time management and organizational skills, including prioritizing assignments and working within standardized operating procedures
  • General knowledge of computer applications, such as Microsoft Office Suite and related information systems
Working Conditions

This is a full-time position with a regular schedule, working 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with no weekend requirements.
