Position Overview

As a key member of our team at Hillcrest Family Services, you will:

  1. Deliver Comprehensive Mental Health Care: Engage in direct patient care, which includes gathering medical histories, interpreting diagnostic tests, and formulating treatment strategies. Educate patients to foster wellness and support their health management.
  2. Manage Clinical Responsibilities: Commit to a full-time role with an expectation of approximately 97 billable hours monthly, encompassing both clinical and administrative duties.
  3. Conduct Evaluations: Perform initial assessments and ongoing care for clients requiring medication management.
  4. Provide Guidance: Counsel clients on treatment adherence, including necessary laboratory work.
  5. Collaborate with Colleagues: Review cases referred by therapists and other healthcare professionals.
  6. Uphold Confidentiality: Maintain strict confidentiality regarding the agency, its clients, and personnel, ensuring the protection of sensitive records.
  7. Supervise Nursing Staff: Offer guidance to nursing personnel in collaboration with the Director and lead Therapist.
  8. Make Clinical Decisions: Exercise authority in clinical matters, providing consultation and direction to the team as needed.
  9. Represent the Agency: Act as an ambassador for the program in external engagements.
  10. Facilitate Educational Opportunities: Consider presenting informative sessions to groups based on professional expertise.
  11. Complete Documentation: Ensure timely completion of all necessary paperwork and dictation.
  12. Share Resources: Collaborate with other programs to assist clients in meeting their healthcare needs.
  13. Network Professionally: Establish and maintain a professional network within the community.
  14. Mentor Future Professionals: Be open to serving as a Preceptor for Nurse Practitioner students as directed.
  15. Adhere to Policies: Follow established clinic procedures and protocols.
  16. Enhance Patient Care: Provide suggestions for improving the quality of care delivered to patients.
  17. Additional Responsibilities: Undertake other tasks as assigned by the Director of Mental Health Services or direct supervisor.
