As a key member of our team at Hillcrest Family Services, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive mental health care. Your role will include:
- Direct Patient Care: Conduct thorough assessments, order and interpret diagnostic tests, establish treatment plans, and provide patient education to enhance wellness and support disease management.
- Clinical Responsibilities: Maintain a full-time schedule with approximately 97 billable hours per month, encompassing both clinical and administrative duties.
- Medication Management: Perform initial evaluations and ongoing care for clients requiring medication management.
- Client Counseling: Guide clients in adhering to treatment protocols, including necessary laboratory work.
- Case Review: Evaluate cases referred by therapists and other healthcare professionals.
- Confidentiality Maintenance: Uphold the confidentiality of Hillcrest Family Services, its clients, and staff, ensuring the security of all records.
- Supervision: Provide oversight to nursing personnel in collaboration with the Director and lead Therapist.
- Clinical Leadership: Exercise final decision-making authority on clinical matters and offer guidance to the team as needed.
- Community Representation: Act as a representative of the program and agency in community engagements.
- Educational Contributions: Consider opportunities to present educational sessions based on your professional expertise.
- Documentation: Complete necessary paperwork and dictation promptly.
- Resource Sharing: Collaborate with other programs to assist clients in meeting their healthcare needs.
- Professional Networking: Establish and maintain a professional network within the community.
- Preceptorship: Be open to mentoring NP students as directed by the Director of Mental Health Services.
- Policy Adherence: Follow established clinic procedures and policies.
- Quality Improvement: Provide suggestions for enhancing patient care.
- Additional Duties: Undertake other responsibilities as assigned by the Director of Mental Health Services or direct supervisor.
