Job Title: Clinical Intake and Diagnostic Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Intake and Diagnostic Therapist to join our team at The Affiliated Sante Group in Columbia, MD.

Job Summary:

The Clinical Intake and Diagnostic Therapist will provide intake and diagnostic evaluations to assigned clients, document and bill for appropriate services, and coordinate treatment with internal and external treatment team members.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide evidence-based treatment modalities based on privileging
  • Conduct quality intakes and diagnostic evaluation methods, mental status exams, and use of the current DSM
  • Ensure all intake documentation is complete and timely in the EMR and in compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Provide crisis intervention services when required
  • Provide services in conformance with the Recovery Model
  • Refer clients to community agencies as needed and maintain communication for treatment planning purposes
  • Meet or exceed clinical productivity standards as established by the Program Director and Clinical Director
  • Collaborate with other community agencies on behalf of clients and/or the agency
  • Practice sound ethical principles in conjunction with established and defined ethics of one's training and discipline
  • Effectively organize time and responsibilities
  • Procure required insurance authorizations prior to service commencement
  • Ensure timely and complete service billing through the EMR
  • Meet or exceed service outcomes, including productivity standards, hospitalization rates, client satisfaction, and no show/cancellation rates as set by the Director
  • Participate in and complete all required trainings
  • Check work email according to agency protocol
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
  • Master's Degree in Counseling, Social Work, or a related field of study
  • Current licensure in the State of Maryland (LCSW-C or LCPC) or eligibility to become licensed
  • Valid driver's license with proof of current automobile insurance and own vehicle
  • Knowledge of Internet and Microsoft Office software (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook)
  • Ability to be trained on Electronic Medical Record software
