Key Responsibilities:

  • Risk Evaluation: Support the execution of risk evaluations to uncover potential threats and weaknesses within the organization. Assess risk elements and communicate findings to the Risk and Compliance Supervisor.
  • Regulatory Oversight: Assist in the assessment and review of compliance with regulatory standards, internal guidelines, and protocols. Conduct regular audits and compliance evaluations.
  • Record Keeping and Reporting: Ensure precise documentation of compliance efforts and risk evaluations. Generate comprehensive reports and records for internal and regulatory use.
  • Policy Formulation: Aid in the creation and revision of policies and procedures to ensure alignment with current regulations and industry best practices. Support the dissemination and training of these policies to personnel.
  • Incident Response: Participate in the investigation of compliance breaches and risk occurrences. Assist in formulating action plans for remediation and monitor the execution of corrective actions.
  • Data Interpretation: Evaluate risk and compliance data to identify patterns and areas for enhancement. Utilize data-driven insights to inform decision-making and strategic planning.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with various departments to ensure a unified approach to risk management and compliance. Provide assistance and expertise on compliance-related matters as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, Risk Management, or a related discipline. Certifications such as CISA, CISM, or CRCM are advantageous.
  • Experience: 1-3 years of experience in risk management, compliance, auditing, or a related field. Experience in financial services or a regulated sector is preferred.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Familiarity with risk management and compliance software is beneficial.
  • Knowledge: Understanding of risk management principles, regulatory obligations, and compliance standards. Knowledge of industry-specific regulations is a plus.
  • Personal Attributes: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. High level of integrity and professionalism.
