Role Summary
The Senior Industrial Engineer will collaborate closely with the Directors of Engineering and the Operations Process Improvement team to establish funding requirements for various process enhancements. This role involves:
- Maintaining a comprehensive list of process improvements and layout modifications through a structured change control process.
- Engaging with Engineering and Operations Process Improvement teams to manage the end-of-life equipment inventory.
- Acting as the primary contact and facilitator for simulation development consultants.
- Running and instructing team members on the operation of various simulation models.
- Creating a library of data feeds to support simulation models.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in engineering and process enhancement.
- 5 years of proficiency in AutoCAD.
- 5 years of experience in developing business intelligence reporting, including oversight of team contributions.
- Strong analytical modeling skills in Microsoft Excel.
- A willingness to travel for onsite quarterly meetings, approximately 15% of the time.
Additional qualifications that would be advantageous include:
- Experience with AutoMod.
- Skills in preparing estimates for capital projects.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
- Ability to analyze engineering design concepts and proposals for new automation equipment and processes.
- Strong capabilities in CAD.
- Experience collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Knowledge of process equipment similar to dispensing equipment.
- Ability to develop process flow charts and maintain a library of conceptual layouts and labor models.
- Experience in collaborative process development and improvement.
- Proficiency in training staff on simulation models.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office/365 suite.
A Bachelor’s degree is required; equivalent work experience will be considered.
Compensation
The typical pay range for this role is between $79,000 and $174,200 annually. This range represents the base salary for all positions within the job grade associated with this role. Actual salary offers will depend on various factors including experience, education, and geographic location.
