Speech-Language Pathologist

North Suffolk Community Services Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our Early Childhood team.
Job Summary:
The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and providing early intervention services and treatment to children and families using a team approach in various settings. This is a unique opportunity to grow your career and skills while making a real difference in the community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and treat children and families between birth and three years of age who require specialized therapy.
- Offer expertise to clients and staff in individual and group settings.
- Provide clinical assessments, evaluations, diagnoses, and treatments using individual and group techniques.
- Administer and interpret client testing activities and prepare written reports.
- Provide direct child developmental and family support, as well as home teaching services, and case management to clients in home, program, and community settings.
Requirements:
- Master's degree required.
- Certificate of clinical competence (C.C.C.) granted by the American Speech, Language and Hearing Association, and licensed by the Massachusetts Board of Allied Health Professions, or in clinical fellowship year prior to being granted a C.C.C.
- Expectation of program to be Certified Early Intervention Specialist (CEIS) within three years of hire.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working with young children.
- Pediatric feeding experience/infant experience required.
- Bilingual Spanish highly preferred.
