Job Title: Speech Language Pathologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Mass General Brigham. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for providing evaluations and treatment services for adult patients referred for speech, language, and/or cognitive disorders.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide evaluations and treatment services for adult patients with speech, language, and/or cognitive disorders.
  • Consult with other members of the healthcare team to ensure coordination and effectiveness of therapies provided.
  • Assist with implementation of triaging and prioritizing referrals and discharges to and from the service as assigned.
  • Maintain documentation per departmental policy and format that is accurate, complete, and timely.
  • Participate in departmental meetings to formulate policies, procedures, and program development.
  • Supervise graduate student interns and support personnel as appropriate.
Requirements:
  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited university program.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology from the American Speech Language and Hearing Association.
  • Possess or be eligible for licensure in Speech-Language Pathology from the state of Massachusetts.
  • Demonstrate expertise in the diagnosis and remediation of neurogenic communication disorders preferred.
  • Effective communication skills (written and verbal) to interact with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare personnel.
