Job Summary:

WaterBridge Operating LLC is seeking a highly skilled Operations Engineer to join our team. As an Operations Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and executing pipeline, facilities, and other saltwater disposal related projects. This includes creating drawings, system hydraulics, project economics, and managing project execution, and project cost tracking.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate projects in accordance with the company's engineering guidelines, specifications, and industry standards to ensure regulatory agency requirements are met.
  • Execute appropriate processes into operations to ensure compliance with company safety guidelines.
  • Design, bid, and manage high-impact pipeline and disposal facility projects.
  • Execute design plans, timelines, system hydraulics, and project budgets, as well as cost tracking for all projects.
  • Create, manage, report, and maintain operation and capital budgets to stay within approved limits for expenditures and budget.
  • Prepare appropriate documentation such as cost estimates, start-up procedures, management of change documentation, and construction turnover packages.
  • Exemplify logistics standards and procedures, utilizing personal and departmental knowledge and resources as needed.
  • Ensure pipelines and facilities are operated in a safe and efficient manner and ensure capital projects are completed on time and on budget.
  • Manage operating budgets and track/communicate changes to dates, volume forecasts, performance, and cost to stakeholders.
  • Create BOM/Material acquisition and assist in quoting process.
  • Create Drawings & P&IDs.
  • Develop, communicate, and implement company policies and procedures for Pipeline and Facilities Operations; ensure consistency in application and compliance.
  • Assist in reviewing company policies and procedures and make recommendations for revision based on best practices.
  • Provide continuous technical and project management support for Operations Management.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in petroleum, mechanical, civil, or chemical engineering, or related field of study is required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of engineering experience in E&P or Midstream Production Operations is required.
  • Ability to travel to Pecos and Houston, Texas frequently is required.
  • Microsoft Suite experience (Advanced Excel & PowerPoint) is required.
  • Experience with system hydraulics tools (Synergi, Pipesim, NextGen, or others) is required.
  • Ability to effectively communicate changes and updates to project schedules, costs, and design to the appropriate stakeholders is required.
  • Working knowledge of applicable industry codes and standards with HSE regulations is required.
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of the design and construction of gathering pipeline systems, as well as operations and construction of saltwater disposal facilities is required.
  • Ability to communicate to stakeholders, customers, and executives with minimal guidance is required.
  • Ability to develop and maintain a strong partnership with field operations and construction teams is required.
  • Innate organizational and detail-oriented skills to meet deadlines are required.
  • Leadership skills to work cross-collaboratively between all levels of the business and external workers are required.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills are required.
  • Excellent project management skills and experience in hydraulic modeling is required.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment is required.
