About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Client Systems Engineer to join our team at Epic. As a Client Systems Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful implementation and deployment of our software solutions to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with customers' Windows server administrators to design and build fast-performing, reliable infrastructure that provides clinicians with quick access to critical patient information.
  • Establish strong, long-term relationships with customers, communicating with them as they install, troubleshoot, and upgrade our software.
  • Work with customers, technical teams at Epic, and other healthcare hardware and software vendors to build technical solutions that enable cutting-edge tools to drive healthcare forward.
  • Make recommendations for best practices to ensure customers' long-term success.
  • Collaborate with developers, technical support, software testers, and implementation specialists across the company to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in information technology, information systems, engineering, math, physics, or hard science preferred.
  • A history of academic and professional success.
  • Strong analytical and reasoning skills.
  • Knowledge of Windows servers or experience with desktop administration is a plus, but is not necessary.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally to customer locations.
  • Eligible to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.
  • Relocation to Madison, WI area (reimbursed).
  • COVID-19 vaccination.
