Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Faculty member to teach Psychology courses at Frederick Community College. The successful candidate will have a Master's degree in Psychology or a related field and experience in teaching and mentoring students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and teach Psychology courses, including lectures, discussions, and assignments.
  • Assess student learning and provide feedback.
  • Stay current with developments in the field of Psychology and incorporate new ideas and methods into teaching.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to curriculum development.
  • Engage with students, colleagues, and the community through service and outreach activities.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Psychology or a related field.
  • Teaching experience, preferably in a community college setting.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with students and colleagues.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Ph.D. in Psychology or a related field.
  • Experience with online teaching and learning platforms.
