The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking highly motivated and team-oriented Primary Care Physicians to serve as members of its Patient Aligned Care Team (PACT) Team in Louisiana. As a part of the Alexandria VA Health Care System, you will be dedicated to providing top-quality medical care to our nation's heroes. The ideal candidate will be board certified with Family Practice and/or VA experience, and will possess excellent communication skills and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care. In this role, you will be responsible for providing care to approximately 12-20 outpatients daily, with the potential for up to 25% travel required to Community Based Outpatient Clinic locations. Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality patient care to a diverse population of Veterans
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive care plans
  • Participate in quality management reviews and performance improvement initiatives
  • Stay current with evidence-based practices and guidelines in Primary Care
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams

Requirements:

  • Board Certified with Family Practice and/or VA experience preferred
