Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Primary Care Nurse Practitioner to provide high-quality healthcare services to our patients in Louisiana schools.

About the Role

This is a per diem position, working on an as-needed basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of primary care and be able to work effectively in a school-based setting.

Responsibilities
  • Provide primary care to clinic patients, including routine care to adolescents and children.
  • Develop and implement policies governing the services provided by the health center.
  • Collaborate with the Medical Director to review patient health records and make referrals when necessary.
  • Maintain accurate patient health records and ensure their transfer when patients are referred to other providers.
Requirements
  • Current licensure through the Louisiana State Board of Nursing or ability to obtain prior to employment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; bilingual (English/Spanish) or English/French is preferred.
  • Valid DEA license or ability to obtain one prior to employment.
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
Work Schedule and Benefits

This is a per diem position, working 8 hours a day, 5 days a week. Our benefits package includes competitive pay, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth and development.

The estimated salary for this position is $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
