We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Otterbein SeniorLife. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Direct Care Provision: Provide hands-on care to residents, including administering medications, wound care, and other treatments as needed.
- Coordination and Supervision: Coordinate and supervise the care of residents, ensuring that their needs are met and that they receive the highest level of care possible.
- Safety Assurance: Assist with safety assurance for residents and nursing staff, ensuring that our facilities are safe and secure.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with nursing and other departments, as well as with service providers, to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Professional Image: Maintain a positive professional image at all times, providing excellent customer service to residents, visitors, and facility staff.
- Education: Graduate of an approved nursing program.
- Licensure: Valid Ohio Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license and CPR certification.
- Experience: At least 6 months of direct care nursing practice, with long-term care experience preferred.
