The Regency Integrated Health Services team is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to serve as a Charge Nurse at our Laredo West Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. This role plays a vital part in ensuring the highest practicable physical, mental, and psychological well-being of each resident.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversight and Coordination: Assist in providing quality care by overseeing the implementation of individualized care plans.
  • Medication Administration: Administer medications as prescribed by physicians, adhering to facility policies and procedures.
  • Rounds and Assessments: Conduct regular rounds to observe, assess, document, and report on resident conditions, identifying any significant changes.
  • Narcotic Reconciliation: Perform narcotic reconciliation with incoming and outgoing shifts to maintain accurate records.

Requirements:

  • Licensure: Active Registered Nurse licensure in the state of Texas, in good standing.
  • Education: Completion of a RN program from an accredited vocational school, college, or university.
  • Experience: Preferably experience working in a skilled nursing facility.
