Landscaping Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Landscaping Supervisor to join our Plant Operations team at Trinity Health. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the daily maintenance of our campus grounds, ensuring a safe and aesthetically pleasing environment for our residents and staff.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate the work of landscaping crews to ensure safe, efficient, and quality completion of tasks.
- Schedule work crews and plan daily work activities, monitoring the work being done to ensure compliance with company standards.
- Operate landscape maintenance and construction equipment, demonstrating the skill to perform assigned duties.
- Work in and around various landscaping settings, including direct contact with landscaping materials and plants.
- Meet with residents and management to develop and refine plans for projects, including ornamental, ground cover, and landscaping structures.
- Learn and apply techniques to complete projects related to landscape maintenance, landscape plant installations, hardscapes, and irrigation.
- Understand and practice safety in all work circumstances, adhering to company safety rules and policies.
- Communicate effectively with team members and provide training on safety procedures when large equipment or hazardous materials are involved.
- Associate's degree or equivalent from a 2-year college or technical school, or 2-3 years' related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience in fertilization, insect control, and turf/plant disease treatment.
- Pesticide Applicator License or attainment within 6 months of employment.
- Knowledge of turf, plants, and flowers in the Sandhills region of North Carolina.
- Experience using a variety of mowers and other hand and power tools.
- Experience pruning shrubs and trees to shape and improve growth.
- Professionalism, customer service, respect, and satisfaction.
- Strong sense of safety for oneself and others.
