Job Summary:

Jerry's Enterprises Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Grocery Associate. As a key member of our store team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and supporting the sales and merchandising efforts of our grocery department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment by restocking shelves, facing merchandise, and keeping the sales floor tidy.
  • Support the sales and merchandising efforts of our grocery department by rotating stock, setting up displays, and maintaining visual merchandising standards.
  • Assist with receiving and processing merchandise, including unloading trucks, stocking shelves, and processing returns.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive store environment.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous retail or customer service experience preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.

Working Conditions:

  • Extended exposure to cold temperatures and wet surfaces.
  • Physical demands include lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 50 pounds, as well as standing, walking, and repetitive motion.
