We are recruiting a skilled Lead Structural Designer to join our client's team in the construction and engineering industry. As a key member of the project team, you will play a vital role in the planning, analysis, and design of structures and structural systems using wood, masonry, steel, and concrete.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design Leadership: Oversee the development of structural systems for various projects, ensuring compliance with safety, durability, and regulatory standards.
  • Technical Expertise: Perform detailed analysis of structural components, utilizing engineering software and tools to model and design efficient and cost-effective designs.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with architects, contractors, and other engineers to develop innovative solutions that meet project requirements.
  • Communication: Prepare and review technical drawings, specifications, and construction documents, effectively communicating design intent and changes to stakeholders.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering or related field (required).
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license with Structural Discipline (required).
  • Proven experience in designing wood, masonry, steel, and concrete structures.
  • Proficiency in engineering design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, or similar).
  • Strong knowledge of building codes, standards, and regulations.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
