Job Summary

The University of Illinois Chicago is seeking an Advanced Practice Nurse with expertise in Pediatric Genetics to join our team in the Department of Pediatrics. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a talented group of professionals who are dedicated to providing high-quality patient care and advancing the field of pediatric genetics.

Key Responsibilities

As an Advanced Practice Nurse in Pediatric Genetics, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive health care to assigned patients, including completion of health assessments, determining diagnoses, planning and prescribing treatment within the parameters of medical staff privileges. You will also participate in the educational experiences of nursing students, medical students, residents and other healthcare disciplines, including case conferences, precepting and mentoring, and assisting with curriculum development and instruction.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a Master's Degree in Nursing or Doctorate of Nursing Practice, graduation from an accredited APRN program, and current licensure as a Professional Registered Nurse and Advanced Practice. You will also need to be registered in the State of Illinois.
