Position Summary

Newly hired PRN MRI Technologists are eligible for a sign-on bonus of $1,000.
The MRI Technologist I will support physicians in executing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures by preparing patients and safely operating MRI equipment to capture diagnostic images.

Qualifications
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED is required; an Associate Degree is preferred. Graduation from an ARRT-approved Radiography or MRI Program is mandatory.
  • Experience: A minimum of one year of experience in MRI is preferred.
  • Licensure/Certification:
    • Certification and registration by ARRT in MRI - RT(R)(MR) or RT(MR) within six months of hire at NH Medical Center is required.
    • Certification and registration within six months of hire in ARRT RT(R)(MR) at NH Independent Diagnostic Testing Facility is required.
    • Certification and registration by ARRT in MRI - RT(R)(MR) or RT(MR) at Hospital Outpatient Department is required.
    • IV Credentialing is required.
    • Refer to the Life Support Training Policy NH-HR-3096 for life support training requirements.
    • Applicable state license is required.
  • Additional Skills (required): Comprehensive knowledge of MRI imaging technology, analytical skills, and basic computer proficiency. Ability to interpret information to determine each patient's care requirements relative to their age-specific needs. Strong communication skills.
