Job Summary

We are seeking an exceptional leader to serve as the Division Chief of Pediatric Critical Care Medicine at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. As a key member of our Department of Pediatrics, you will be responsible for leading and expanding the division's clinical, education, and research activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise clinical care in general pediatric ICU services, cardiac ICU care, and Pediatric Rapid Response Team
  • Provide key support roles for patient transport of critically ill children from around the state and region
  • Lead a robust ACGME-accredited fellowship training program
  • Develop and support a rich array of outstanding health sciences research programs, centers, and resources
Requirements
  • MD or DO, board certified in Pediatrics and sub-board certification in Pediatric Critical Care Medicine
  • Strong leadership, effective interpersonal, team-building, and communication skills
