Olesky is seeking a skilled Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join our team in Richmond, Indiana. This employed position offers a unique opportunity to work with a growing team of psychiatrists and nurse practitioners in an outpatient setting. The ideal candidate will have experience in geriatric and adult patient care, with a focus on providing high-quality, patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform history and physical examinations on patients
Establish presumptive diagnoses and develop treatment plans
Order laboratory studies and radiological tests as needed
Provide counseling and instruction to patients and their families
Collaborate with discharge planners to ensure seamless care transitions
Requirements:
Master's degree in nursing or related field
Current licensure as a nurse practitioner in the state of Indiana
Experience in geriatric and adult patient care
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
