Millennium Physician Group is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Medical Assistant to join our team in a full-time capacity. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist healthcare professionals with patient examinations and treatments, including collecting vital signs and medical histories.
- Perform various clinical tasks, such as EKGs, injections, and data entry in electronic health records.
- Provide excellent patient experience and support our top initiative of ensuring patient satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care and efficient workflow.
Requirements
- Completed a Medical Assisting Program or equivalent experience.
- CPR/BLS certification.
- Ability to type at minimum 40 WPM.
- Current certification in CMA, CPR, BLS, etc.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of EMR systems, particularly Athena.
- Strong computer skills and ability to learn new software.
Work Environment
The Medical Assistant will work in a fast-paced healthcare environment, requiring strong communication and organizational skills. The ideal candidate will be able to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods.
