Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily structuring and execution of securitization transactions.
  • Assist in the structuring and execution of asset-backed securities (ABS) transactions for the Special Situations sector in North America.

Special Situations assets include Art Loans, Leveraged Loans, Future Flow, Collateralized Fund Obligations, and other niche financial products.


  • Collaborate with the Securitization Quant team to perform financial modeling for new transactions and facility renewals.
  • Review legal documents and negotiate key terms with clients, legal representatives, rating agencies, and other stakeholders involved in the transaction process.
  • Engage in the preparation of credit submissions and facilitate Q&A processes with internal stakeholders, including credit and legal teams, as part of the transaction evaluation.
  • Support ongoing monitoring and reporting of the portfolio, including performance evaluation and responding to amendment requests.
  • Compile transaction summaries and create ad hoc reports and presentations for internal stakeholders, detailing transaction status and outcomes as needed.
  • Provide additional execution support to the broader Securitization group, including Clean Energy, Operating Asset (Container, Aviation, Rail), Auto, and Trade Receivable sectors.
  • Assist in pitching and origination efforts.
  • Maintain and update template presentations and credentials.
  • Prepare pitch books in collaboration with team members for prospective clients.
  • Conduct preliminary analysis, including data reviews and research of relevant reports and methodologies.
  • Develop and nurture relationships with peers across the organization, clients, and third-party entities involved in the transaction process.

Key Internal Contacts:
Client Coverage bankers, the wider Securitization team, ABS Syndicate, DCM Sales and Trading, Senior Management, and relevant support functions (risk, operations, credit, and legal departments).

Key External Contacts:
Securitization clients, legal counsel, third-party auditors, consultants, and rating agencies.

Salary Range:
$110k - $125k

Candidate Criteria

Minimal Education Level

Bachelor Degree / BSc Degree or equivalent

Academic Qualification / Specialty

College degree with a major in Business/Finance/Economics/Engineering

Level of Minimal Experience

0-2 years

Experience

2-3 years of experience with a financial institution (bank/fund/rating agency/insurance). Familiarity with securitization is preferred.

Required Skills

FINRA SIE, Series 7, 63, 79 (can be obtained after hiring).

Ability to adapt to and manage evolving timelines; to work collaboratively within a team as well as independently; sound judgment; strong writing and presentation skills.


Technical Skills Required

Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Bloomberg Terminal; knowledge of Corporate Finance and Accounting. Prior experience with financial models and cash flows is advantageous.
