Job Title: Supervisor - Support Staff

At Saint Francis Community Services, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our support staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office.

Job Summary:

The Support Staff Supervisor will be responsible for supervising clerical staff, providing guidance and support to office personnel, and ensuring the completion of performance reviews. This role requires strong leadership and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and support clerical staff, including completion of annual performance reviews.
  • Develop and oversee the completion of performance expectations, conduct corrective counseling, and provide guidance as needed.
  • Provide monthly supervision for direct reports and ensure record documentation and management information data is complete and accurate.
  • Monitor and evaluate compliance outcomes and processes, ensuring quality and effectiveness.
  • Advises Director of critical trends and liaises with Program Supervisors and other departments to ensure effective communication among support services.
  • Reviews and implements efficient practices for support staff and works closely with the PI/QA department to maintain consistent and efficient processes.
  • Participates in internal and external meetings pertaining to compliance review and assists during case reads and audits.
  • Reports critical incidents to DCF verbally within 12 hours, written within 24 hours, and implements Saint Francis Ministries policies and follows directives as required.
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Prefer a bachelor's degree in Leadership, Business, or Human Services.
  • 2 years' experience working with children and families.
Preferred Skills:
  • Mandated Reporter.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule.
  • Understanding of the child welfare and state system.
  • Demonstrate effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to travel throughout the State.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent customer care skills.
  • Computer skills including knowledge of Word and Excel.
  • Demonstrates effective leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to oversee, direct, and coordinate multiple complex functions and projects.
