Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Pharmacist to join our team at the University of New Mexico Hospitals. As a Clinical Pharmacist, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the development of our pharmacy services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical pharmacy services to patients, including medication therapy management, patient education, and counseling.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient care and improve health outcomes.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of clinical practice guidelines and policies.
  • Conduct medication use evaluations and quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and care.
  • Document patient information and recommendations regarding drug therapy regimens in patient charts.
Requirements
  • Pharmacist license in New Mexico.
  • Board certification in a relevant specialty (e.g., pharmacotherapy, clinical pharmacy).
  • Experience in a hospital or clinical pharmacy setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Working Conditions

This is a full-time position with a rotating shift schedule. The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.
