Job Overview

Position Title: Order Picker

Job Type: Full-Time

Location: Neenah, WI

Employment Status: Direct Hire

Work Schedule: 1st and 2nd Shift (Overtime may be required)

Compensation: Starting Pay includes a $1.35 shift premium

Benefits Package: Medical, Vision, Dental, 401(K), Paid Vacation, Paid Holidays, Referral Bonus

Education Requirements: High School Diploma or GED

Experience Requirements: Minimum of 6 months in a similar role

Role Summary:

The Order Picker is responsible for assembling orders accurately and efficiently. This role involves a variety of essential functions, including:

  1. Reading and interpreting orders with precision.
  2. Identifying finished products correctly.
  3. Documenting and reporting returns to management.
  4. Coordinating with supply personnel to ensure material availability.
  5. Operating forklifts and order pickers safely.
  6. Directing packing lists to their appropriate destinations.
  7. Utilizing poly wrappers for packaging.
  8. Loading trucks in compliance with weight and distribution regulations.
  9. Familiarity with warehouse layout.
  10. Using RF systems and computers to check stock status.
  11. Preparing UPS shipments for dispatch.
  12. Working at heights up to 30 feet.

Physical Requirements:

  1. Ability to stand, walk, and use hands continuously.
  2. Frequent reaching, stooping, kneeling, and crouching.
  3. Occasional sitting and climbing.
  4. Frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs.
  5. Consistent operation of order pickers and high lifts.
  6. Use of various tools and equipment safely.
  7. Strong sensory skills including communication and vision.

Qualifications:

  1. Must be trainable by qualified personnel.
  2. Possess the physical capabilities to perform job duties effectively.
  3. Demonstrate legible handwriting skills.
