Position: Mobile Application Developer at Wind Creek Hospitality

WORK HOURS: 8am-5pm (Schedule may vary based on operational needs)

Position Overview:

As a Mobile Application Developer at Wind Creek, your primary focus will be on the design and enhancement of mobile applications (iOS/Android) that deliver a variety of gaming experiences and resort functionalities to our patrons. These applications are designed to complement our Wind Creek Casino Website, engaging users and building loyalty through entertaining digital experiences. Your responsibilities will include developing, maintaining, and supporting the code for mobile applications and associated server-side components, with an emphasis on user experience improvements, performance tuning, and frontend development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, analyze, troubleshoot, and optimize code for digital platforms
  • Design and implement innovative solutions for Wind Creek's mobile applications
  • Create and deploy server-side applications
  • Adhere to the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) for high-quality outcomes
  • Provide comprehensive technical documentation for solutions and platform architecture
  • Utilize AWS infrastructure, Git, and Jenkins for deployment
  • Support ongoing improvement initiatives to enhance team efficiency
  • Ensure timely completion of assigned tasks
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and other departments
  • Clarify and define project requirements with colleagues
  • Offer technical guidance and consultation
  • Report on project status and challenges to management
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications:

Essential Requirements:
  • High School diploma or GED required; must enroll in a GED program within 6 months if not completed
  • Minimum age of 21
  • Bachelor's or Associate degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field AND 3 years of experience in mobile application development
  • OR 7 years of software development experience with web or mobile applications
  • Proficiency in UNITY3D, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, SQL databases
  • Strong skills in Java, C#, C++, or similar programming languages
  • Hands-on experience with iOS or Android application development
  • Familiarity with game development concepts
  • Preferred experience with React, GraphQL, Java, Play framework, PHP, Kafka
  • Background in gaming is advantageous
  • Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Willingness to travel and participate in training sessions
  • Valid State Driver's License and a clean driving record
  • Eligibility for a Tribal Gaming License
  • Eligibility for Pennsylvania and/or Illinois Gaming License
  • Comfortable working in environments with smoke exposure
