Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Licensed Vocational Nurse to provide patient care and support at our Chula Vista and 4S Ranch centers. The successful candidate will work under the supervision of a registered nurse, nurse practitioner, physician assistant, or physician to deliver high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Record patient vital signs, including pulse, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height.
- Administer medications to patients and monitor their progress throughout treatment.
- Perform clinical procedures as directed, including scheduling or performing injections or treatments under the direction of a physician.
- Prepare exam rooms for patient visits and gather patient information to keep records updated.
- Maintain effective communication with medical personnel, patients, and their families.
- Treat wounds, change wound dressings, and collect samples from patients, including blood and urine.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Valid LVN license.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule as necessary.
Preferred Skills:
- 1-2 years of experience in an oncology setting.
Salary: $30.00 per hour.
