Position Overview:

Under the guidance of a physician's order, the Speech Language Pathologist will conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop tailored treatment plans that address the physical, developmental, and psychosocial needs of patients. This role includes providing expert advice to interdisciplinary team members to enhance the quality of care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer speech-language pathology evaluations and implement treatment programs.
  • Collaborate with the Assistant Director for supervision and support.
  • Perform additional duties as required to ensure effective patient care.
Qualifications:

Education: A Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited institution is required.

Licensure: Candidates must be eligible for the Certificate of Clinical Competency and possess current licensure in the State of Missouri.

Certifications: A valid American Heart Association Healthcare Provider card is necessary, or completion of a course within the probationary period.

Skills and Abilities:

Applicants should demonstrate a solid understanding of evaluation and treatment methodologies for a diverse range of diagnoses.

Working Conditions:

This position requires standing and walking for extended periods, as well as the ability to lift and assist patients and equipment.

Equipment Proficiency:

Competency in the use of treatment equipment and basic computer skills is essential. Physical capabilities include the ability to push 20 lbs, pull 35 lbs, grip 40 lbs, and pinch 10 lbs.
