About the Role:

Morgan Properties is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the inside and outside of our properties meet company standards and applicable laws.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot service issues, including HVAC, general appliance, carpentry, electrical, and plumbing.
  • Respond to maintenance tickets and follow up with residents and office staff on the status of work.
  • Work in an on-call rotation, requiring nights and weekend flexibility.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning and inspecting equipment.
  • Collaborate with other maintenance staff to ensure efficient and effective maintenance operations.

Requirements:

  • Valid driver's license, good driving record, personal vehicle, and auto insurance.
  • Live within a 30-minute commute of the property.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • One or more years of experience in all facets of apartment maintenance, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and small appliance repair.
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • Willingness to submit to a background check and drug screen.
