Job Title: Licensed Clinical Social Worker - Family Advocacy Treatment Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Licensed Clinical Social Worker to fill the role of Family Advocacy Treatment Manager at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska. This is an in-person position at USAF Base in South Korea.

Job Summary:

The Family Advocacy Treatment Manager will become part of the US Air Force Family Advocacy Program (FAP), designed to address family maltreatment. The FAP advocates for nonviolent communities through education and awareness activities, as well as the identification and treatment of family maltreatment incidents.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess families referred for suspected maltreatment and provide treatment to individuals, families, and groups whose maltreatment allegations meet criteria for maltreatment.
  • Work with the New Parent Support Program (NPSP) to provide voluntary prevention services to families to prevent the occurrence of family maltreatment.
  • Provide voluntary prevention counseling to individuals, families, or groups who are at risk for maltreatment.
Requirements:
  • US Citizen
  • U.S. Licensed Clinical Social Worker
  • Master's degree from a Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) accredited school
  • 2 years full-time post-master's degree experience in professional clinical counseling service programs to men, women, and children who are abusive or abused.
  • Experience as a group therapy facilitator or co-leader.
  • 2 years of experience working with children, families, and groups in clinical or community organization settings; or as program manager, with demonstrated responsibilities in program planning with implementation of education and intervention services, and community collaboration.
  • Experience working with professionals and agencies that provide community support and counseling intervention services to children and families.
