Our team is dedicated to supporting patients' medical and personal recoveries from substance use disorder.

Responsibilities
  • Order and receive medications from authorized sources, conduct inventory of controlled substances, and reconcile variances as required by state and federal regulations.
  • Prepare medication doses for patients in accordance with prescribed levels and dosage amounts.
  • Maintain high levels of physical security in the pharmacy, including locking doors, safes, and alarms.
  • Answer patient questions regarding pharmacology in a confidential and informative manner.
  • Ensure compliance with State Board of Pharmacy policies and maintain necessary permits and licenses.
  • Oversee and review the work of pharmacy technicians and provide guidance to dosing nurses on safe administration of doses.
  • Maintain a clean and organized pharmacy, including proper inventory and supplies.
  • Ensure proper medical waste procedures are in place.
Requirements
  • Meet state-defined minimum licensure, education, and experience requirements.
  • Participate in annual continuing education to maintain licensure and stay up-to-date in the field.
