We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Surgical Technologist to join our team at Baylor Scott & White Health. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of surgical procedures, working closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare the operating room and equipment for surgical procedures, ensuring that all necessary instruments and supplies are available and functioning properly.
  • Assist the surgical team during procedures, passing instruments and supplies as needed, and maintaining a safe and sterile environment.
  • Participate in pre-operative and post-operative patient care, including preparing patients for surgery and assisting with recovery.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure that all necessary equipment and supplies are available and functioning properly.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, including surgical counts and instrument inventory.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited surgical technology program.
  • Current certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) or Certified Surgical Assistant (CSA).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
