About Aveanna Healthcare

Aveanna Healthcare is a leading provider of homecare services across the nation, specializing in care for patients of all ages, particularly in pediatrics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist, evaluate, and document patient care, including:
  • Basic first aid and vital signs monitoring
  • Catheter and bowel care, including intake and output tracking
  • Support with range of motion exercises as directed by therapy professionals
  • Facilitate patient mobility and positioning using appropriate equipment
  • Prepare meals tailored to dietary requirements
  • Address special patient needs within the scope of authorized tasks
  • Aid in maintaining personal hygiene, including:
  • Assistance with bathing, grooming, and oral care
  • Complete necessary documentation and reports after each visit
  • Monitor and report significant changes in patient health to the nursing supervisor
  • Deliver personal care and perform basic procedures as part of therapy or nursing services.
  • Execute services as outlined in the physician's care plan, adhering to state regulations.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid and unrestricted certification as required by state regulations
  • Current CPR certification
  • Proven skills in clinical assessments and compliance with care policies
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record

Physical Requirements

  • Proficient in speaking, writing, reading, and understanding English
